Flange Protector Bands
Protect your bolts, studs, nuts, and flanges with flange protector bands. Made from 304 stainless steel, a neoprene foam liner, and stainless grease fittings, these bands protect against buildups from corrosive and salt environments. Flange Protector Bands are designed to protect studs and gaskets on raised face and ring type joint flanges from atmospheric corrosion encountered in chemical plants, refineries, gas plants, offshore platforms, onshore oil fields, ships, paper mills and underground pipelines.
With the use of Flange Protectors and Corrosion Inhibitor Grease, flanges remain safe from hazardous and unsightly corrosion that can cause leakage, failure, or even shutdown of equipment.
The plastic PVC band are designed mainly for use on cathodically insulated flanges to prevent foreign matter from shorting out or bridging over an insulating gasket. This series is manufactured from a flexible PVC material.
The steel band are manufactured from 22-gauge 304L or 316L stainless steel band, stainless steel worm-gear strap, and grease fitting. The gasket is made of 3/16” closed cell neoprene for positive seal.
